Selling Event Specialist
|Description:||The Selling Event Specialist is responsible for presenting/sampling Boar’s Head Delicatessen products to consumers in a retail store or food show environment, pro-actively engaging customers. The ultimate objective is to promote and educate the consumer on various Boar’s Head products.|
Must be available to work weekends. Hours vary.
|Duties:||•Knowledge of Boar’s Head products, inclusive of flavor, nutritional information, and complimentary products (training provided).|
•Willingness to engage customers and actively promote the Boar’s Head brand.
•Experience with food preparation helpful.
•Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to different retail locations.
•Some merchandising required.
•Ability to transport and set-up a folding table, utensils, platters, etc.
•Willingness to operate a slicer (training provided).
•Must exhibit good food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
•Close interaction with consumers.
•Be energetic and possess a serving attitude.
|Qualifications:||•High school diploma or equivalent|
•High school level math competency
•1 to 2 years experience
